One of our small group leaders, Wilmer has been leading groups with uniformed personnel (police and military) since the beginning of the COVID crisis. I appreciate his passion. And he’s not even in full time ministry in that sense of the word.

When we gave care packages a couple of weeks ago to jeepney drivers from church and their friends, I remember this man’s smile this morning.

Part of the care package was cellophane to implement social distancing. Since they have very limited resources, buying cellophane plastic cover is an added expense.

So when we gave the cellophane roll, this manong’s face beamed with a smile. What a blessing to see that.

Ludencio is one of the LSIs (locally stranded indi

Ludencio is one of the LSIs (locally stranded individuals) from Bacolod. They used to have to eat outside before sundown due to the dark, and they would get bitten by mosquitos. Now their group can eat inside the tent with good light. They also don’t need to wait for their phones to charge at the central charging station. They can charge the phones while they are asleep.

Members from church made this happen on their own initiative. Thank you Jim, Hybrid and dear church members who exhibit hearts of compassion. God bless you abundantly.

Heartwarming story here...

Our maintenance, security and cleaning team have also been hit by the pandemic.

Today, we had them help us pack care packages. All the while, they had thought it was for someone else not realizing it was for them.

They were pleasantly surprised to say the least. We are grateful for everyone of them.
Thank you to the generous people in church who always think of others.

Jeepney drivers are one of the groups of people th

Jeepney drivers are one of the groups of people that have been hit hard because of the public transport shutdown during the quarantine.

While it has eased up and they’re allowed to go back, the 4 months without work has taken a major toll.

More than sharing care packages and groceries, it is important to share where our the real hope lies - in Christ alone.

What a blessing to see several of them receive the gift of salvation today. Some of them are from church and will follow them up so they can continue in their spiritual journey.
