We think that our prayers will be answered according to how good or Christ-like we’ve been.
But prayer reminds us of who God is.
“When we pray, we have the ear of an unimpeachable sovereign and unassailable master.”
Praying allows us to touch the heart of God. He hears us and is ready to respond. At the same time, God uses that opportunity to align our hearts to His.
