THE CALL
God has called us to be faithful… faithful to the vision. God has given us a vision to reach campuses and communities in every nation.
THE MANNER
Pastor Rice Broocks, in our Every Nation Go Conference 2019 shared 3 ways we can accomplish this.
1. PRAY FOR THE NATIONS.
‘My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations’ – Mark 11:17
We are called to pray and to go to the nations. When Pastor Steve Murrell came, together with the original team that had an outreach in 1984, his mantra was “a Bible and a passport.”
To be a disciple and to make disciples, we need a Bible and a passport – a Bible so we can know God’s will and a passport so we can obey God’s will.
2. PRIORITIZE THE CAMPUS.
The campus is the source of future leaders. This is our stewardship. This is our calling. This is where the future leaders are.
In 1979, Rice Broocks felt the call to the campus. To this day, he still goes to the campus. It was in 1979 that he heard God say, “Change the campus, change the world.” We have done this. We continue to do this. And we will not stop.
3. PREEMINENCE OF THE GOSPEL.
We have a mission.
We have a vision.
But at the heart of what we do is the gospel.
Jesus is Lord.
Jesus came.
Jesus lived amongst us.
Jesus suffered.
Jesus died.
Jesus rose from the dead.
Jesus is still Lord.
He will come back one day to rule and reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
THE MISSION
The body of Christ is where the manifold wisdom of God is revealed. Each part of the body has a specific calling and stewardship. We have to know who we are as a church and unapologetically do what God has called us to do and accomplish.
We are called to make disciples, train leaders and plant churches. And we are to do this in every campus and in every nation.
