Many of us make it to school because we’ve been blessed with families who have the means to support us. But at the same time, we have many young people in our nation who don’t have this privilege.

Jefferson’s desire was to go to school to help his parents financially when he grauates. Coming from a poverty stricken background where many would chant “I was born poor and I will die poor”, Jefferson held on to God’s promise.

“For I know that plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11.
