DON’T FOLLOW YOUR HEART; GUARD IT!

We have heard it said that in terms of love and relationships, we are to follow our heart.

Unfortunately, while this may seem like a nice thought, we cannot follow our heart. The Bible says in Jeremiah 17:9 that our heart is deceitful above all things and it is desperately wicked.  Because of this, we are not to follow our heart but to guard it.

Proverbs 4:23 tells us to guard our heart for it determines the course of your life. (NLT)

Here’s a message to explain this further.

Has anyone lost their car in the parking lot? I did.. . Found it after 30 min. Didn’t pay attention to which floor I parked. 😂

In a fast paced, technologically savvy world, finding rest in His presence is still the key to find genuine strength.

Isaiah 30:15. “In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength.”
